The exhibition Aragon et l’art moderne at the Adresse Musée de la Poste is an excellent review, presenting around 40 works by artists that Aragon wrote about at one time or another. The exhibition traces his move from Surrealism to Social Realism, beginning with discussing works by notable Dadaists-turned-Surrealists like Max Ernst, Man Ray and Jean Arp. The show continues with works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró (here represented by some refreshingly unfamiliar works on paper), André Masson, Yves Tanguy, Giorgio de Chirico, Paul Klee, Albert Giacometti, Bernard Buffet, Nikolai Pirosmani-Shvili and others.
